April 4: Karen Williams – Black Bear Encounter

Karen Williams, a critical care nurse at Los Alamos Medical Center and a marathon runner, will tell us about her encounter with the mother black bear that attacked her last June during a Valles Caldera running competition and how she has worked to change New Mexico wildlife law to protect animals more comprehensively.
