The community is invited to attand the Rotary Club Crab Fest, Saturday, Feb. 28, which will feature a number of note-worthy items in the silent and live auctions this year.
In the silent auction, you’ll have opportunities to bid on: restaurant, movie and gasoline gift certificates; wine and wine-tasting events; golf lessons and clubs; Secundino Sandoval prints and other art; Swedish massages; an antique New Mexico window-frame mirror; hand-dyed silk scarves; computer services; first-edition/autographed books; Atomic City tour by Buffalo Tours; science-themed t-shirts; Los Alamos Daily Post advertising; Don Taylor photography; and more.
In the live auction, bidders will find: a weekend at Rancho Nambe’; lunch with NBA player Alex Kirk; spring clean-up by Oasis Landscape; a three-day cow elk hunting trip with JSOutdoors; steak, cioppino, and German dinners with wine; gold jewelry with diamonds and rubies; a weekend golf package at Buffalo Thunder; a Los Alamos Fire Department fire station dinner; a condo stay in Steamboat Springs, and more.
The community is invited to the event, which begins at 5:30 p.m. for social time and cash bar and dinner at 7 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
