Rotary Friendship Exchange

The Rotary Club of Los Alamos recently hosted a Rotary Friendship Exchange (RFE) with seven Rotary members from Oregon. The guests were given a warm welcome by hosts Chris and Arnie Sierk, Sarah and Dick Rochester, Nina and Gary Thayer, and Doug and Christie Wilson, in addition to the many other members who provided dishes for potlucks and who arranged tours and transportation. In the four days the visitors were here, they were treated to lunch at Rancho de Chimayó, a visit to Ortega Weaving, guided tours of Bandelier, the Historical Museum and Bethe House, Bradbury Science Museum, PEEC, and Los Alamos, and two to potlucks. After a visit to Santa Fe, the visitors continued to Albuquerque and Rotary host families there and will continue to Rotary host families in Roswell and Silver City before returning to Oregon.
