The Rotary Club of Los Alamos annual Crab Fest is Feb. 28, and will feature a number of note-worthy items in the live auction this year. Among them is a Valles Caldera Elk Hunt.

JS Outdoors is donating a professionally-guided cow elk hunt on the Valles Caldera National Preserve (VCNP). The winner of this auction item will receive a three-day, one- on-one hunt, room and board, transportation and field care for your trophy.
This hunt will be valid for the 2015 or 2016 hunting season. Actual dates for the hunt are to be announced by the VCNP and New Mexico Game and Fish.
JS Outdoors will gladly assist in license applications. This hunt is available for upgrades for other licenses on the VCNP for a minimal fee or can be transferred to other licensed hunters upon approval of JS Outdoors. This is a good-faith donation based on 2014 VCNP configuration. Retail value for this hunt is $1,950 including tax. Guest fees and tips not included.
